We are a growing community. In 2025 alone, we welcomed over 6,500 attendees for Jumu’ah prayers and saw a 90% rise in enquiries for classes and support. With the help of over 20 dedicated volunteers and visiting scholars, we hosted more than 30 community events, ranging from interfaith dialogues to Eid Fairs.

Perth Central Mosque (The Light Project) is a registered charity (SC054334) dedicated to serving the Muslims of Perth and Kinross.
2025 marked a historic and transformative year for us. With the successful purchase of our mosque building in January 2025, we have secured a permanent home for the Muslim community of Perth.
Our vision is to be a centre of spiritual guidance, education, community service, and unity for Muslims in Perth and surrounding areas. We aim to build a prophetic community rooted in faith, service, and excellence.
We are more than just a prayer space. Our motto is “Inspire. Serve. Connect.”. We are a registered charity (SC054334) dedicated to being a centre of spiritual guidance, education, community service, and unity for Muslims in Perth and the surrounding areas.

Major Milestone of 2025
- Building Purchase & Qardh Hasanah Loan
1. In January 2025, Perth Central Mosque achieved a landmark milestone: the successful purchase of our mosque building, securing a permanent home for the Muslim community of Perth.
2. This historic achievement was made possible through a Qardh Hasanah (interest-free loan) of £225,000.
3. Owning our building gives us the stability to plan for the long term, allowing us to expand our programmes and invest in vital facilities for future generations.
