Founder of The Light Project & Ismaeel Books Publishing House

Born and raised in Makkah, I began my Qur’anic studies in high school and completed memorisation at the age of 16. I later spent seven enriching years in the UK and South Africa, deepening my understanding of faith, knowledge, and service. For the past seven years, I have been honoured to serve our community as an Imam and through Ismaeel Books Publishing House, which is dedicated to spreading knowledge and meaningful literature. Now, by the grace of Allah, this journey continues with a new chapter: The Light Project has led to the founding of Perth Central Mosque. More than just a prayer space, we are creating a heart of the community—a place filled with light and purpose, where every person is welcomed, every story matters, and together we grow in faith, love, and unity.
